Culture day
I want it to happen sooner as Ramadan is in the culture day and we can’t celebrate it
Date planned with student leadership groups.
26.05.23 there isn’t a clash with Ramadan so all our students can access the day.

They don’t use gloves in the canteen
Some staff like to use gloves but it isn’t compulsory as all the staff must use the variety of utensils (serving spoons-slotted spoons-pea scoops-chip scoops-tongs) to serve the food (red on the halal bar and black on the others) also for the biscuits they use a napkin.

Education around the use of derogatory language.
The ‘Call it Out’ campaign is being launch during half term. The student leadership team have worked hard on this.

Having a prayer room available.
Students who would like to pray are encouraged to speak to Mrs Taylor.
